We have a
number of horses/ponies that are not advertised for sale as we
have either a few problems to rectify first or we just like them
so much we want to have some fun with them! However, being a
business, we thought we would show you what we have and if
anyone really likes what we have then we are open to sensible
offers. |

For loan: Tommy:
15.2hh, 15 years old, chestnut gelding. Ex-advanced event horse
looking for loan home as companion only. Cannot be ridden due to
back problems but sound, needs no medication and is easy to do.
Lives out all year round, super to box, trim, catch, etc. Good
companion for youngsters. Insurance paid for by owners. Ideally
kept locally to Berkshire.

Quidditch: 14.2hh, 6 year
old, dark bay gelding. Believed Welsh x Connemara. He came to us
last year as a project. He had a very sore back and his saddle did
not fit which made him basically not want to be ridden. He is
now going very sweetly and will soon be ready to go up for sale as
per normal but needs a little more work first. He is schooling
nicely and hacking out in company, just needs a reasonably
confident rider at present to reassure him when he is feeling a
little insecure. Has previously done some
competing until the saddle problems and was ridden by a child. He
has good conformation, three straight paces and a scopey little
jump. Super in traffic and also good to box/shoe/clip/catch. Was
vetted just over a year ago, microchipped and vaccinated. Will be
a cracking PC pony in another couple of months.

Annoushka: 16hh, 9 year old,
TBx Warmblood mare. She is by the very good TB sire Weld out of a
grade A mare Annaconda. She came to me in 2007 in a very poor
state; we got her back to health and starting riding her at the
end of the summer. Due to her poor condition on arrival she has
always been quite weak from a riding point of view and needed lots
of ground work to strengthen her up. She will be put in foal to
Wild Dice Bewes this year and should produce a cracking foal. She
is quite bright to ride but safe. Super to hack on her own or in
company, very good in traffic. Annie has straight paces and
is a careful jumper. Easy to do, lives in or out, no vices. Will
make a nice riding horse but needs someone who is willing to put
in a lot of groundwork to strengthen her up but would also be a
fabulous broodmare (has already bred one foal). Microchipped and
vaccinated.

Cosmo: 13hh, 11 years old,
registered Section B, chestnut gelding.
Cosmo is a sort of in between
pony; not quite a project but not quite perfect to sell!! Sent to
me as a naughty riding pony (most of which was due to pain) we
decided not to even try and sort out his ridden problems as at his
size he is always going to be a child's pony and although only
occasionally naughty I was not prepared to risk it with a child.
So we broke him to harness and he absolutely loves it; the more
work the better but he will still drive beautifully if dragged out
of the field having done nothing for weeks!! He is super in
traffic, will canter across open fields, lives out and is just
dead easy to do. His problem? He's a grumpy little sod basically!!
I adore him and think he is great fun but he does like to try and
intimidate people, pulling faces and stamping his front feet. Once
he realises you are not bothered he gives up. So he is for
loan with a view to buy at reasonable price to someone that is
willing to put up with his nonsense for a few weeks until he
settles in. He would make fab driving trails pony.
