Livery Services

 

All livery packages include:
  • Bedding (usually shavings)
  • Hay or haylage
  • Hard feed which is arranged to suit your horses individual needs. We have an excellent supplier who can suggest specific diets to suit your requirements and most brands of feeds are available.
    (Supplements and specialist feeds are at cost to you. We can also supply Equine America products at 10% discount to our clients)
  • Tack cleaning
  • Daily grooming
  • Horse laundry
  • Use of yard facilities which include heat lamps and wash box
  • Use of 20 x 40m sand and rubber school with selection of jumps
We now require a non-refundable deposit of £50 to hold a space - you are advised to book early as we do get busy and limit numbers to maintain our high standards.
Turnout:
Is available all year round in fields with post and rail or electric fencing. Horses are turned out in single sex groups, pairs or individual.
Farrier/Vet/Therapist:

We have regular visits from our farrier, Darren Doyle, physiotherapist, Christine Hopley, and vets Andrew McGonnell and Richard Gillatt. An excellent team; however, you are welcome to use anyone of your choice.

Lessons:
We do not provide lessons ourselves but can assist you with your horse and actively encourage owners to be involved with breaking horses. We have weekly visits from qualified instructors which clients are welcome to use.
Transport:

Transport can be arranged with Bernie McGarrigle (qualified transporter with new luxury lorry) on 01628600465 or 07804421617.

Local facilities for hire include:
Indoor school and all weather gallops, excellent off road hacking around private estates.
The yard is open 7.30am until 7.30 pm . No dogs allowed. Children welcome if under control!!
Full Schooling Livery - £140 per week
On top of our usual livery service
this also includes 5 days exercise per week to fit your requirements. Up to 3 feeds per day, daily turnout and general trimming, mane/tail pulling.  Also includes 1 free Equissage session per week and holding for treatments/farrier up to 30 mins.

Cracker

Breaking / Hunting / Competition Livery - £150 per week
On top of our usual livery service this also includes 6 days exercise per week to fit your requirements.. Up to 3 feeds per day and daily turnout. Extras include 2 free Equissage sessions per week and holding for treatments/farrier up to 30 mins. Bathing/turnout for competitions, clipping and trimming is included and yes, we do clean filthy hunting tack for you!

Sales livery
Various options are available to suit all requirements:
  • Option 1 £60 per week plus 15% commission
  • Option 2 £80 per week plus 10% commission
  • Option 3 £150 per week no commission
Please note that Options 1 & 2 are time restricted and if your horse is not sold within 4 weeks then your sales livery will change to Option 3.
All horses taken in to sell for clients are on an initial one week trial with us to ascertain their suitability for sale. This is at cost to the owner, payable in advance, and non refundable. The cost of the first week is £150.
On top of our usual livery service all of the above include exercise 5 days per week to suit individual, preparation and turnout for sale and presentation to prospective clients and for vetting. Placing of adverts, photographs (includes taking the photos) and handling of all calls. All adverts are at cost to owners and we will discuss where to advertise before placing the ads. Advertising on our website is free of charge to clients. Extras are as per normal livery, such as shoeing and worming.

Rehabilitation Livery:
Unique to every horse, so therefore priced individually to suit each equine. We specialise in groundwork and have excellent success rates in all areas. Specialist farriery and saddle fitting can be arranged. Includes free use of Equissage and Muscle Stimulators, heat lamps and magnetic blanket.

Extra fees:
Holding for vets/farrier etc £10 per 30 mins
Clipping  £40 full, £20 Blanket/chase, other clips please ask.
Writing out of cheques £1 for client's horses.
Annual membership for farm rides £40
